By Car
From London and the M25, take the A12 signed Chelmsford and Colchester, pass the exits to Colchester West and Colchester Central, and then join the A120 signposted Harwich and Clacton.
From the Midlands and North, follow the A14 (signposted Felixstowe/Harwich) until you are south of Ipswich. Join the A12 signposted London, then take the A120 signposted Harwich. From the A120 join the A133 for Clacton, Frinton, Walton, St Osyth, Brightlingsea etc.
Car Parks
There is a number of Council run car parks available throughout Tendring as well as a number of charging points for electric vehicles, which are available for the general public to use.
By Coach
Tendring is coach friendly and offers several facilities for coaches.
By Rail
Regular trains run to the Essex Sunshine Coast with daily direct services from both Clacton and Harwich International to London Liverpool Street. Average journey time from London is 1 hour 45 minutes.

The Mayflower Line
Begin your journey along the Mayflower Line at Manningtree, where you will travel along the line past Mistley heading towards the town of Dovercourt before the train comes to a stop at Historic Harwich.

The Sunshine Coast Line
Starting in Colchester, your journey takes you through to the picturesque villages of Alresford and Great Bentley. Stopping at Thorpe-le-Soken you can choose to take the line to Walton-on-the-Naze or Clacton-on-Sea.
